During the opening session, our Acting General Manager Dr. Samir RACHIDI a speech on IRESEN support of scientific conferences and materials science for clean energy systems. He emphasized the importance of developing efficient and low cost components for electrolysers, the core devices that produce hydrogen from water using electricity.

In addition, our colleague Seddiq Sebbahi, Technology Intelligence Manager at IRESEN and a PhD student in Chouaib Doukkali University, presented his research on PEM electrolysers. He shared his insights on the state-of-the-art and future perspectives for this mature technology, which has the potential to enable a hydrogen economy.

During the event, special acknowledgements have been given to Prof. dennoun Saifaoui and Prof. Yahia Boughaleb for having initiated, organized and supported this conference since its first edition.
