IRESEN’s Green Hydrogen System Manager, Nouhaïla NABIL, was part of the Moroccan delegation that participated in the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition in Rotterdam-Netherlands from 9 to 12 May 2023. The delegation also featured representatives from Cluster GREEN H2, MASEN, and agence nationale des ports(ANP).
The Summit is organized by the Sustainable Energy Council with partners the Port of Rotterdam, the City of Rotterdam and Provincie Zuid-Holland.
The #WHS focused on the opportunities and uncertainties in the Hydrogen sector at many dimensions. Key topics about hydrogen policy, infrastractures, investment opportunities and technology challenges were addressed through a rich program that contains:
Knowledge sessions, country tables and panel discussions spotlight and keynotes from potential Africa Hydrogen Forum (9 May)
Exhibition area (10 &11 May)
Networking round table Morocco- Netherlands : The aim of the meeting is to bring together Moroccan and Dutch public and private stakeholders to discuss potential cooperation and to explore business opportunities (11 May)
Site visit to the Port of Rotterdam Projects (12 May): The opportunity to visit the port infrastructure and active and ongoing projects and meet with companies and relevant parties.
It was an opportunity for the institute to connect with decision makers from politics, industry, science and civil society, to access quality content and to build lasting relationships with representatives of the international Hydrogen sector.
