IRESEN has taken part in the Joint Workshop EMEA-Bertelsmann Stiftung in Barcelona on July 13-14, 2023.
The workshop discussed the EU’s role in facilitating the green energy transition in the Mediterranean region.
The workshop gathered experts from EU and North African institutions who presented their views and experiences on the new financial mechanism and partnerships for energy transition promotion in the Mediterranean launched by the EU over the last years. The workshop also emphasized the opportunities and the main challenges for the region to move towards a green energy transition, demonstrating best practices and lessons learnt.
We are thankful for this opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge with other stakeholders who are dedicated to advancing the green energy agenda in the Mediterranean.
